Going to School on the "Cloud School Bus"

Primary school students in Nizhuhe Village go to school by the "Cloud School Bus". Nizhuhe Village is located in a canyon. In the past, it took villagers nearly six hours to travel to and from the mountaintop along the cliff path. In 2022, the Nizhuhe Grand Canyon Ecological and Cultural Tourism Scenic Area started operation. The 268 - meter - high elevator and the high - altitude cable car with a height difference of nearly 200 meters were successively put into use and were free for villagers in Nizhuhe Village and nearby areas. Now, the children first take a sightseeing bus for about six or seven minutes, then transfer to a sightseeing elevator and climb 268 meters vertically, and then transfer to an aerial cable car and climb more than 200 meters. Plus the walking time, they can reach the school in half an hour.
