Spokesperson's Remarks | China condemns U.S. Vice President's impolite words

Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian said on Tuesday that it is surprising and kind of lamentable to hear U.S. Vice President JD Vance say "words that lack knowledge and respect".

His comments came after Vance in a recent interview said the U.S. borrows money from Chinese peasants to buy the things those Chinese peasants manufacture when discussing Trump administration's trade policy on China.
