Global Civilization Initiative International Youth Talk and New Year Concert for International Youth held in Beijing
On December 11, the Global Civilization Initiative International Youth Talk and the New Year Concert for International Youth were held in Beijing. The events, themed "Civilizations in Harmony, Youth in Symphony" were jointly organized by the China International Youth Exchange Center and the China Coal Mine Art Troupe.
Diplomatic envoys from embassies in China representing countries including the United States, the Republic of Korea, Mongolia, Fiji, Peru, Kazakhstan, Iran and Algeria attended the event, along with representatives from international organizations such as the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, the United Nations Development Programme, the United Nations Office for Project Services, the United Nations Industrial Development Organization, the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank, and the China–ASEAN Centre. Former Chinese ambassadors, representatives from foreign chambers of commerce in China, Chinese industry associations, multinational companies, Chinese and foreign young entrepreneurs, as well as international students in China were also present. In total, more than 370 participants from over 50 countries and regions took part in the event.

During the Global Civilization Initiative International Youth Talk, three groups of young Chinese and international representatives engaged in in-depth discussions on cultural innovation, artistic integration, and cooperative development, offering vivid examples of how young people practise mutual learning among civilizations. Notably, young participants from China and the United States presented a cross-Pacific musical dialogue under the theme "From National Tones to Global Resonance."
The New Year Concert for International Youth that followed showcased the rich diversity of traditional Chinese music, highlighting the profound cultural heritage and spiritual values of Chinese civilization. Many international participants said that the event not only allowed them to experience the enduring charm of traditional Chinese music, but also enabled them to feel the unifying power of art that transcends national boundaries in an atmosphere of peace and friendship.
