Li Lixin, a former art industry business development specialist, founded a pet funeral home in late 2024, driven by the fast-growing Chinese pet market and rising demand for professional pet farewell services. The industry now has over 9,000 enterprises, with strict animal epidemic prevention laws governing operations. Former flight attendant Zhang Dafeng and post-95 practitioner Zhang Yingjun also joined the sector, focusing on emotional services, online marketing and business expansion.
