One Black Horse Goes Viral as the National Museum of China Turns Tang History into Playable Culture

作者:李悦 来源:中国青年报客户端2026年02月02日

To celebrate the Year of the Horse, the National Museum of China drew inspiration from a rare Tang Dynasty black-glazed horse to launch its “One Black Horse” merchandise series. From plush toys and blind-box figures to fidget spinners and magnetic finger puppets, the playful designs let young visitors interact with culture in new ways. Fans love customizing, collecting, and even making the toys “come alive” with sounds and movements. The museum proves that history can be more than static—it can be fun, shareable, and something you can actually experience and play with.
