Guatemalan Influencer Celia: China’s Openness Makes Me Feel at Home

“I came to China as a cross-cultural enthusiast and grew into a scholar and storyteller,” said Celia, a Guatemalan teacher at Wuhan University after the Two Sessions. She highlighted how openness and international education shaped her journey from student to content creator with 300K+ Spanish-speaking followers. “China gave me the chance to grow across cultures and careers,” she said, noting “real, everyday progress” in green tech, innovation, and global ties. With deeper China–Latin America exchanges, she believes more foreigners are finding opportunities and a sense of belonging in China.
