A survey of 1,001 single young Chinese by China Youth Daily shows 33.0% believe they can find reliable love online, 50.5% hold a wait-and-see attitude, and 16.5% distrust online romance. 74.1% expect public security, industry authorities and platforms to strengthen identity verification. 69.0% call for rational caution, 59.1% advise lowering unrealistic expectations, and 57.3% emphasize privacy protection for safer online dating.
