In 2025, China's residential digital consumption reached 25.3 trillion yuan, growing 8.7% year-on-year. Even more striking: digital services surged 12.5%, becoming the key engine behind this growth.
From cultural tourism to healthcare and smart city services, digital technologies are reshaping everyday life—making services more accessible, efficient, and personalized.
Behind the scenes, policy support is scaling up. In August 2025, eight government departments rolled out guidelines to boost digital consumption, alongside 40+ supporting measures and standards.
